Terms of Service – My Cani Art

Welcome to My Cani Art!

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of mycaniart.com (the “Site”) and your access to the custom products and services provided by My Cani Art / Ameros AB ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About My Cani Art

My Cani Art is a brand under My Equi Art, founded and operated by artist Amalia Thoors. Since 2020, My Equi Art has created and delivered over 10,000 custom horse portraits to happy customers around the world. You can explore the full collection and learn more at myequiart.com.

My Cani Art builds on the same vision and craftsmanship—offering timeless, personalized artwork, now featuring your dog.

Each piece is hand-designed by Amalia, based on photos you provide, and made to order with care and attention to detail.

2. Eligibility

To place an order or use our services, you must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. Products and Orders

Each product is custom-made based on your dog’s photos and information. Please ensure that submitted images are clear and suitable for artwork.
As the artwork is an artistic interpretation, small variations may occur from the reference image.

We reserve the right to request new images or decline orders that do not meet our quality or style requirements.

4. Pricing & Payments

Prices are displayed in your local currency or EUR and include VAT where applicable.
Secure payment options include credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other methods via Shopify.

Shipping costs (if applicable) are calculated at checkout.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We ship worldwide. Delivery times vary by product and location. Custom portraits typically ship within 2–3 weeks; some products (e.g., sweaters or framed items) may take longer due to production or international shipping times.

We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, or force majeure events.

Buyers are responsible for any customs duties or import fees.

6. Returns & Refunds

Because each product is custom-made, we do not accept returns or offer refunds unless the product arrives damaged or incorrect.

Please contact us at hello@myequiart.com within 7 days of delivery if there’s an issue with your order. Include photos and your order number.

Gift cards are non-refundable.

7. Copyright & Ownership

All artworks and designs created by My Cani Art remain the intellectual property of Amalia Thoors / Ameros AB, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

When you purchase a product, you receive a personal-use license. You may display or gift the artwork for personal use, but you may not copy, reproduce, modify, or use it commercially.

To request commercial or exclusive rights, please contact hello@myequiart.com.

8. Marketing Use

By placing an order and submitting your dog’s photo(s), you grant My Cani Art the right to use the final artwork and product previews for promotional purposes, such as social media, website, email marketing, and advertising.

If you prefer not to have your artwork featured, please let us know in writing when placing your order.

9. Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect and use your personal data.

10. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for illegal purposes

  • Submit offensive or unauthorized content

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

  • Attempt to interfere with the Site’s functionality or security

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Site or our products.

Color representation may vary between digital preview and final product. We do not guarantee specific delivery dates.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes will be resolved under Swedish jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted here with the revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site confirms your agreement to the current Terms.
